About Paws For Enrichment
Paws for Enrichment encourages pet owners to pause from their busy lives and engage in meaningful, purposeful interactions with their dogs and cats. We believe that enriching a pet’s life goes far beyond feeding, walking, and lounging together—it’s about providing mental and physical stimulation that meets each animal’s unique needs. Through tailored enrichment products and education, we aim to help pet owners nurture their pets’ natural instincts and personalities, promoting happier, healthier lives for dogs and cats of all breeds, including those with special needs like blindness or deafness.
You can also find us at local markets across Sydney to view our product range in person.
Our Story
Paws For Enrichment all started because of our CEO (Chief Enrichment Officer), Alfie, who loves to "work" for his food. When Alfie was a little puppy, it was a struggle to get him to eat and be interested in his regular food. He began eating and gaining weight after introducing dog puzzles and hide-and-seek toys.
As a first-time pup parent living in an apartment, I did a deep dive into research looking for ways to work on separation anxiety, toilet training, and keeping Alfie mentally stimulated. That’s when I found the world of enrichment. But the big pet stores didn’t know much about it, and I ended up spending way too much money just testing what might work.
So, I started Paws For Enrichment to help fellow pet parents by offering a curated range of high-quality enrichment toys, tools, and resources designed to match your pet’s unique personality, breed, and needs—including those with special requirements like blind or deaf companions.
Whether you're just starting your enrichment journey or looking for fresh ideas, we’re here to support you every paw-step of the way.
